Leading human rights activist shot in Burundi's capital
In Burundi, a leading human rights activist is shot and seriously injured in the capital Bujumbura. It comes just a day after the president's senior aide was assassinated in a drive-by shooting. Nigeria's military says it's freed nearly 180 hostages, among them over 100 children, held by Boko Haram in the country's northeast.
