The right's direction: Populist pressure on mainstream parties (part 2)

We turn our attention to Manchester and David Cameron's speech before the annual Conservative Party conference. Cameron led the Tories to victory last spring in a general election. But how strong is his grip? Will it last through to 2017 and an in-out EU referendum? Cameron is promising the best of both worlds, a renegotiation of Britain's EU membership that will keep the UK in Europe. How many within his own party will follow him?
