Russia in recession: Putin says the worst is over
Russia is in recession, struggling with low oil prices and Western economic sanctions. Moscow slapped an embargo on Western food products last year in retaliation for the sanctions. It led to higher prices for shoppers, but some Russian producers are eyeing higher profits.
Also, world leaders will gather in Paris in December to try to strike a deal to cap climate change. Making businesses aware of how they can limit damage to the environment is key in the lead-up to the summit. The best incentive is an economic one: businesses will be more encouraged to save the planet if they're also making money. That's the subject of a trade fair taking place in the French capital.
