Paris terror attacks: In the wake of a national trauma
Date created :
Shock, anger and dismay. Those are just some of the ways to describe the feeling here in the French capital, a city which has found itself the target of deadly terrorist attacks for the second time this year. The Islamic State organisation says it was behind the attacks which targeted bars and cafes in the bustling 10th and 11th arrondissements of Paris, the Stade de France stadium and the Bataclan concert hall, the deadliest attack of all.
In total, 130 people were killed in the worst violence in France since World War II. We bring you a special edition of France in Focus, dedicated entirely to the tragic events of Friday November 13th.
