Video: City of Lights becomes City of Smog


Paris – the ‘most beautiful city in the world’ – is also one of the most polluted. In 2014, 80% of Parisians were exposed daily to high levels of toxic nitrogen dioxide.


The microscopic particles in the air from cars and factories in Paris are a danger not only to the environment, but also public health. With public health at stake – and COP21 taking place in the French capital – the fight against air pollution has become a priority in Paris.
