Steve Toltz tackles fear, hope and survival in ‘Quicksand’
Date created :
Australian author Steve Toltz joins us to talk about his novel "Quicksand", an irreverent take on friendship, failure and the everyday absurdities of life in the 21st century. With a good dose of black humour, Toltz takes on the themes of family and fatality in this, his second novel. We also chat about the Cannes film festival’s first Australian jury president, director George Miller.
