EU Commission vice-president encourages France to reform labour market
Jyrki Katainen, a former Finnish Prime Minister, is now Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness. He reacts to the French government's difficulties in reforming labour laws there and urges French people to look at examples of other EU countries that have low unemployment and wide social coverage.
Jyrki Katainen also responds to the Panama Papers scandal, the EU migrant crisis and Dutch voters' rejection of the EU-Ukraine association agreement.
