James Galbraith on Greece's debt crisis: ‘A default is inevitable’

James Galbraith is one of the world's leading economists. During the height of the Greek crisis he spent months travelling in between Austin and Athens, working closely with then-finance minister Yanis Varofakis. His latest book ‘Welcome to the Poisoned Chalice: The Destruction of Greece and the Future of Europe’, will be published in June. While many analysts are convinced we won’t see a Greek crisis this summer, our guest says that the way things stand today, a Greek default is inevitable.
