UK Conservative race cut short: Theresa May set to be next PM

On Wednesday Theresa May will replace David Cameron as prime minister. The Home Secretary voted "remain" and must now negotiate Britain's exit from the European Union. Mrs. May has pledged to abide by the result of the Brexit referendum; but it won't be easy bargaining in Brussels. She'll also have to reconcile a Tory leadership that was mostly pro-remain with a party base that's majority pro-leave.
