Zimbabwean pastor freed: Court dismisses case against anti-Mugabe protest leader

In Zimbabwe, the leader of the #ThisFlag movement is freed and met by cheering crowds. Pastor Evan Mawarire was charged with trying to topple the government after calling for nationwide strikes but the court said prosecutors didn’t follow the rules. And in South Sudan, the tenuous ceasefire appears to hold out after the weekend's bloody clashes between rival supporters of the president and those of his deputy, but there are international fears that fresh fighting could break out.
