After Turkey's coup attempt, the backlash. Even though the government says only a tiny fraction of the army took part in last Friday's uprising, authorities have suspended or detained close to 20,000 soldiers, police, judges and civil servants. More purges are to come for anyone remotely associated with the president's friend-turned-foe, US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen. As Erdogan pushes for constitutional reform and a stronger presidency, will he now get his wish?
