The 2016 Summer Olympics are finally here. And while the eyes of the world are turning to the athletes, far from all Brazilians are happy about their country hosting the games. We meet some of the locals who have grown disillusioned by the Olympic hype.
Also, one of the biggest concerns for Brazil today is making the Olympics as safe and secure as possible. More than 80,000 police officers and soldiers are patrolling the streets throughout the games. Security forces have also been carrying out huge simulated counter-terrorism exercises.
And there are quite a few French nationals on the Olympic games workforce. We'll take you backstage.
