Going for gold and green: New perspectives from Brazil
Issued on:
Street artist Rafael Suriani joins Olivia Salazar-Winspear in the studio to talk about Brazil's moment in the sun, as the country hosts the Olympic Games. The São Paulo native pastes his artwork in the streets of Paris, and in doing so tackles questions of gender and queer identity. We talk about shaking off the clichés of sun and samba, and take a look at the creative projects being spearheaded by a new generation of Brazilian artists.
