This week Thais grieved the death of their beloved monarch King Bhumibol, while in America Donald Trump continued to alienate voters over his treatment of women. French conservative party Les Républicains held its first primary debate, in Nigeria 21 girls captured by Boko Haram were released, and the Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.
