Thousands march in Lagos over slum evictions

In tonight's edition: Protests in Lagos over slum evictions, a damning report is published on Burundi's deadly political unrest, and we delve into the lives of Tunisia's underground rubbish men or berbechas.

Thousands of people protest in Lagos, accusing police of having torched their homes around them as part of a bid to destroy shanty towns around the Nigerian city. Tens of thousands have reportedly been left homeless.

Also, the International Federation for Human Rights describes a year and a half of deadly political violence in Burundi as a descent into hell.

And we hear from Tunisia’s underground rubbish men, called Berbechas. They play a huge part in getting at least some of what is thrown out into the streets to recycling centres.
