It's been three months since the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro hosted the Summer Olympics, but the euphoria generated by the event is already a distant memory. State coffers are empty and a severe economic crisis is taking its toll. Many employees are still waiting to be paid and public services are crumbling.
