Golshifteh Farahani on turning ordinary life into poetry in 'Paterson'
Issued on: Modified:
We meet Golshifteh Farahani, the Iranian actress who’s made an impression on French filmmakers and is now branching out into American indie cinema. Farahani stars in Jim Jarmusch’s whimsical tale "Paterson" alongside Adam Driver, as an artistic young woman taking pleasure in the ups and downs of daily life. France 24’s Louise Dupont asks her about the bittersweet struggle of forging a career far from her home town of Tehran.
We catch up with American alt-rock band the Pixies, as the group embark on a world tour 30 years after they first got together.
And we check out an exceptional sale of intimate images from filmmaker and photographer Larry Clark.
