Horror in the church: Priest 'assassinated by barbarians'

IN THE FRENCH PAPERS - Wednesday, July 27: French papers react after the barbaric killing of a priest in a Normandy church, later claimed by the Islamic State group. The killing has sparked anger once more from the political opposition over the government's perceived lack of action on security. Some of the press, like the Catholic paper La Croix call for measured responses in the face of the violence while others says we need to confront it "head on".
