Mexico's president limits price hikes in bid to quell fuel protests

The Mexican president has announced a plan to limit the increase in prices of basic goods, as protests over a recent fuel price hike enter their second week. Petrol prices rose by 20% on January 1st, as the government tries to phase out fuel subsidies. Also today, more details emerge of the charges against a senior executive at Volkswagen over the emissions scandal.
