Pardon my whistleblower: Obama, security and surveillance (part 2)

On the eve of his final full day in office, Barack Obama used his executive power one last time to commute the sentence of Chelsea Manning, who fed classified documents to Wikileaks. Senior Republicans denounce Manning as a traitor, while his supporters tout him as a whistleblower. Will this affect Obama’s somewhat tainted legacy on security and surveillance?
