Jordan on the frontline of fight against terrorism
The kingdom of Jordan has been dealing with the spillover from fighting in neighbouring Syria and Iraq. Jordan is seen as pro-Western, and last year it experienced more terror attacks than ever before. The most recent took place last December, killing ten people. However it was an earlier suicide attack in June 2016 that pushed Jordan to seal its northern and eastern border. Our team reports from the Jordanian border with Syria, where tensions remain high.
