Film show: 'American Honey', 'Moonlight' and 'Le Concours'
Director Andrea Arnold takes us on a journey into the American heartland, following the youngsters hustling from state to state in "American Honey". Film critic Lisa Nesselson tells us that while the cast’s door-to-door sales roles charmed her, their taste in music left her cold.
We also check out "Moonlight", a film that illuminates those lives so often lived in the shadows. Barry Jenkins’ second feature has prompted critical acclaim for its treatment of homosexuality, poverty and race relations in the US.
And we follow the ultra-selective Parisian school "La Fémis" as it picks out the filmmakers of the future in Claire Simon’s "Le Concours".
