A disappearance in the desert: Everett Ruess brought to life on stage

Inspired by a mysterious vanishing in the desert of Utah in the 1930s, "The disappearance of Everett Ruess" is a theatrical rock performance being staged at Paris’s 104 cultural centre. Its creator Emmanuel Tellier tells us about the real-life character who inspired the show.

We also take a look back at the career of jazz legend Al Jarreau. The award-winning musician has died at the age of 76.

And a journey to the very beginnings of musical theatre, courtesy of Jacques Offenbach's "Fantasio". The 140-year-old comic opera takes in love, marriage and a charismatic court jester.
