French street artist JR returns to town where 2005 riots were sparked

JR is one of France's best-known street artists although he now calls New York home. From the wall between Israel and the Palestinian West Bank to the favelas of Rio, the slums of Nairobi, the banlieues of Paris and the streets of New York, JR's mission is to bring those who have long been in the shadows out for everyone to see. His latest project is a 36-metre-long collage composed of the people of Clichy-Montfermeil - the city where the sparks of France's 2005 riots first flew.
