In tonight's edition, Nigeria marks the third anniversary of the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls, and in Ivory Coast a court convicts six people of the kidnappings and killings in the 2011 so-called Novotel attack. And finally, we speak to Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, the president of the Confederation of African Athletics.
Nigerian activists take to the streets across major cities, calling for more to be done to find the Chibok schoolgirls. It’s now been three years since the girls were abducted by Boko Haram militants.
And an Ivory Coast court sentences six former soldiers of the 2011 murder of four people who were abducted at Novotel hotel in Abidjan. The presidential guard under ex-president Laurent Gbagbo is to serve 18 years.
