Final countdown to French Election Day!

It’s the final day of official campaigning in France before the crucial second round of the presidential election, and the last day of The Campaign Beat. Centrist Emmanuel Macron has been surfing on a wave of confidence and has seen a boost in the polls since Wednesday’s TV debate. If elected, many will discover who this relatively unknown politician really is. Meanwhile, analysts are looking ahead to parliamentary elections in June, billed to be just as important as the presidential race.
