François Hollande announces plans for museum, memorial to victims of slavery

In tonight's edition: François Hollande announces plans to build a memorial and museum to the victims of slavery, the repatriation of Etienne Tshisekedi's body to Kinshasa is once again delayed; and we find out how inflation is affecting people in Kenya.

As French President François Hollande announces plans for a memorial and museum commemorating the victims of slavery, we visit the Gambian slave island at risk of eroding into the sea.

Also, the repatriation of the body of Congolese opposition leader Etienne Tshisekedi is delayed once again as the opposition accuses President Joseph Kabila of trying to provoke civil unrest.

And as the Kenyan parliament considers freeing up extra cash to subsidize basic food staples, we take a look at how ordinary Kenyans are coping in the face of rising inflation.
