Save the Children CEO on Rohingya crisis: 'Children have told us they've been shot at'

Helle Thorning-Schmidt is Chief Executive of the NGO Save the Children International. She spoke to FRANCE 24 on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Over 400,000 Rohingyas have fled recent violence in Burma and crossed the border into Bangladesh, half of them children. Helle Thorning-Schmidt describes the "devastating stories" her NGO has heard from youngsters. She calls for Burma to allow access to aid organisations but also for the international community to help Bangladesh.
