France's majestic Catalan coast, from the mountains to the seafront
At the very east of the Pyrenees lies the Catalan coast, a shoreline shared by both France and Spain. It's one of the most majestic of all the Mediterranean coastlines. Dominated by Mount Canigou and its famous abbey, the area is a paradise for hikers and history buffs alike. Fans of exotic marine life are not forgotten either – the small Spanish fishing village of Cadaquès is equally popular with visitors to the region. FRANCE 24 takes you to discover it.
