How do artists and writers see the world? We take you to the crossroads where culture meets the news and engages with what's happening in our lives today. From Monday to Friday at 12.15 pm Paris time.

Music show: Isaac Delusion, Maroon 5 and Sam Smith

Indie electro-pop outfit Isaac Delusion have been dubbed the heirs to the French Touch movement. The Paris-based quintet's eclectic, experimental tunes dare to push sonic boundaries, while flaunting a certain "je ne sais quoi".

Founding members Loïc Fleury and Jules Pacotte talk to France 24’s Richelle Harrison Plesse about their difficult-to-define sound, writing and singing in English as opposed to their native French, and their failsafe backstage rituals as they gear up for the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris.

We also take a listen to two of the week’s radio-friendly releases from pop-rock stars Maroon 5 and British soul singer-songwriter Sam Smith.
