The autumn colours of France's Sologne forest

In autumn, France's central Sologne region is a magnificent display of blazing gold and orange. The area covers 5,000 square kilometres of former marshland, dotted with forest-lined ponds and lakes which are entirely man-made. The timber found here is the main source of income for locals. FRANCE 24 takes you to meet those whose livelihoods depend on the forest.
