France’s Macron in Africa: A fresh start?

Emmanuel Macron is in Africa to mark a new era of Franco-African relations. But not everyone's happy about it. Ahead of the French president's major address, Burkinabe student activists symbolically rename Ouagadougou's Avenue Charles de Gaulle to Avenue Thomas Sankara, after their beloved anti-imperialist former president. And one Twitter user wonders if France would ever honour a visiting African leader by closing all schools for two days, as Ouagadougou has done.
