Evo Morales: US exit from Paris accord is 'unforgivable'

In an interview with FRANCE 24, Bolivian President Evo Morales slammed the "unacceptable, unforgivable" decision by US President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. Morales called for the creation of an international "climate justice court" to impose sanctions "retroactively". He also shared his thoughts on the first measures taken by the US administration and on his own political future.

Speaking to FRANCE 24's Marc Perelman, Bolivian leader Evo Morales said it was "up to the people" to decide whether he should continue as president past 2019 after the country's constitutional court scrapped all term limits.

Morales had previously promised to respect the results of a referendum in which voters narrowly rejected a constitutional revision that would have allowed him to stand for a fourth term in 2019.
