New day for women? Oprah leads Hollywood call for change

They wore black to the ceremony. At the Golden Globes, the biggest female leads in Hollywood answered the dress code call of the new Time's Up collective and delivered rousing appeals to fight sexism and abuse in the wake of the Weinstein scandal. Stealing the show on a night of stars was Oprah Winfrey. The winner of a lifetime achievement award, who herself suffered abuse as a child, she made her own a message to all the little girls watching at home in a moving speech.
