North, South Korea talks 'happened in spite of Trump, not because of him'

Earlier this week, negotiators from North and South Korea held rare talks, giving the rest of the world some hope of a possible easing of tensions. The dialogue was focused on North Korea's participation in next month's Winter Olympics in South Korea, but it could be a welcome opening act in a broader de-escalation initiative. FRANCE 24's Douglas Herbert asks Adam Mount, a senior fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, whether we should all be breathing a sigh of relief.
