THE WORLD THIS WEEK

Our panel of Paris-based journalists review the week’s international news: the stories that made the headlines and also those you may have missed! Join us every Friday at 7.10 pm Paris time.

Latest update : 2018-01-26

Trump in Davos after Macron; Erdogan's new front

Our panel of international journalists focuses on Donald Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He offered a very different vision of government from the one the audience heard two days previously from his French counterpart. We also turn to the Syria-Turkey border where Turkey is conducting an offensive against the Kurdish YPG militia, despite calls for restraint from the US and other Western allies; and the death of one of France's greatest chefs, Paul Bocuse.

Produced by Daniel BARNEY, Alessandro XENOS, Elom Marcel TOBLE.
