Moroccan 'Chibanis' celebrate victory in discrimination case against French state railway

Among the top stories in the French press: victory for more than 800 "Chibani" Moroccan workers in their case against the French state railway SNCF. They fought for years to demand fair compensation for their work. A court ruled in their favour in 2015 and the SNCF appealed. On Wednesday, that appeal was rejected. We look, too, at student protests over university reform. And at a report that women chess players play better than expected when competing with men.
