Date created :
Mohammad Khazaei is Iran's deputy finance minister and former ambassador to the United Nations. He is in Europe to promote investment in Iran amid tensions with the Trump administration over the landmark 2015 nuclear deal. "We are committed to staying" in the deal, Khazaei tells FRANCE 24. But he admits that the level of foreign investment in Iran since the deal has been below expectations. Reacting to recent protests, he insists "the government is trying its best to develop the economy".
