Slovakia's Europe minister on Bratislava's place in the EU and migrant quotas
This year marks 25 years since one of the countries right at the heart of Europe split in two. This was no civil war, but an event dubbed "The Velvet Revolution", which separated Czechoslovakia into two new states. A quarter-century on, Talking Europe welcomes Slovakia's Minister of European Affairs, Ivan Korcok, who is also currently acting foreign minister.
Slovakia has featured most prominently in European news recently in relation to the migration crisis. The Socialist government mounted a legal challenge to European migrant quotas, and lost!
