THE DEBATE

A live debate on the topic of the day, with four guests. From Monday to Thursday at 7.10 pm Paris time.

Football and money: Is true competition paying the price?

Paris Saint-Germain will be confronting Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League tonight, a match that says a lot about modern football. These two clubs sum up what is great and what is not so good about what is dubbed the "beautiful game." Large sums of money have been spent to build these teams and continue to be spent on the players. Is all this building a game of heroes fit for the adoring public, or has it skewed how the players relate to the fans?

Produced by Charles WENTE, Tatiana REITER, and Van MEGUERDITCHIAN.
