Celebrating French gastronomy on all five continents

France is renowned for having the best cuisine in the world. To celebrate this fact, every year in March, restaurants in 150 countries cook a French meal as part of an event called "Good France".


Our South Africa correspondents meet chef Wandile Mabaso, an expert in French cuisine who is bringing a little "ooh la la" to Johannesburg. Caroline Dumay and Stefan Carstens report.

We also take you on a guided tour of one of Paris's oldest cookery schools, "Le Cordon Bleu". Jennifer Ben Brahim, Marie Schuster and Aude Richelet show you around.

Finally, Eve Jackson meets Brazilian-born chef Alessandra Montagne in the kitchen of her restaurant "Tempero". Alessandra Montagne, one of the few female head chefs in Paris, shows off her cooking prowess.
