Fantasy novelist Robin Hobb among guests at France's biggest book fair
Readers, writers and industry insiders have it marked in their calendars: Paris's annual book fair is the networking opportunity of the year. It’s also a chance to hear talks and debates on the future of publishing. Russian authors have been welcomed with a special pavilion at this year’s event but politics have cast a shadow over the invitation, with French President Emmanuel Macron boycotting their stand.
