'We are witnessing an appalling increase in casualties from landmines'

Every year, 2,000 people are killed and 8,000 more seriously injured by landmines, sometimes years after conflicts have ended. To mark International Mine Awareness Day, Anne Héry, the head of advocacy at Handicap International, spoke to FRANCE 24. Her NGO works on the ground to help communities affected by landmines.
