'Algiers gives go-ahead for beatification of slain French monks', FM says

In an interview with FRANCE 24, Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel said Algiers has "given the go-ahead" for the beatification of seven French monks killed in Algeria during the country's civil war in the 1990s. He also discussed the conflict in Western Sahara, amid diplomatic tensions with Morocco over the issue.
