The Interview

US embassy move makes MidEast peace process 'mission impossible on steroids'

In an interview with FRANCE 24, former US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US decision to transfer its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has turned the Middle East peace process into "mission impossible on steroids". Blinken also condemned the "horrible and predictable" violence at the Gaza border on Monday that left dozens of Palestinians dead. Elsewhere, the former diplomat regretted Donald Trump's "very unfortunate decision" to withdraw the US from the Iran nuclear deal.
