Peugeot plant asks staff to work longer hours, bypassing French unions

Peugeot may be breaking the 35-hour working week taboo in France. The carmaker is asking staff if they can agree to work 37 hours and 45 minutes a week in exchange for a small pay raise. Also, Total says it will have no choice but to pull out of Iran if it can't get a specific waiver from Washington to continue its operations.
