'Macron sees high earners as key to getting the French economy moving again'

This Tuesday sees another day of strikes across France, this time led by civil servants. President Emmanuel Macron has pledged to cull their numbers by 120,000 by 2022. Work stoppages at the national rail company SNCF also grind on. A year into Macron's presidency, Adam Plowright, author of "The French Exception," gives us his view on how Macron has done so far.
