Facebook in China: Data sharing inside the Great Wall

Facebook has been accused of carelessness and cynicism, but could the company's behaviour be treasonous? The social media giant insists it was only offering "the user experience" of its services when it did business with the likes of Huawei and TCL, Chinese firms flagged since 2012 by the US for their ties to a state apparatus that - long before Donald Trump's trade row accusations - stood accused of espionage.
