L'Impératrice: The empress of Parisian pop music

They've been called the cornerstone of the French pop music scene. They're selling out Paris music venues with their 70s space disco and downtempo 90s synth pop mixed with their own 21st century twist. After six years together they've released their first album "Matahari" and this summer they're playing the festival circuit. L'Impératrice speak to Eve Jackson about the "mean" city of Paris, the anonymous woman in their music and why no musician wants to be defined by genres.
