#MeToo in Japan: The woman speaking out against rape

In 2015, she was a journalism intern looking for her big break. Shiori Ito went to a sushi restaurant to discuss a job opportunity with the former Washington bureau chief of the Tokyo Broadcasting System, a heavyweight in the media world. She claims he then drugged her, dragged her to his room and raped her. She's just published her account in a new book called "Black Box", and has become the face of the #MeToo movement in Japan. Shiori Ito spoke to FRANCE 24.
